Cherry Blossom Viewing

I drank and cooked with my friends under Cherry Blossom. It was so enjoyable. We put a drum and boiled water, It was just bath, I felt great to soak in the drum under the cherry blossom trees. The first photo was taken when my friend was blowing into the boiler under the drum. It was spiteful of him to boil the water more though I was telling him it was so hot. I was unable to put my feet on the bottom of the drum.

These photos are foods I cooked. Left one is “Yakisoba” with Cherry blossom flowers. I have already explained the Japanese food before. Center one is Foil-Yaki. I baked chicken with some mushroom, onion and lemon wrapped in aluminum foil. Did you notice the common word “Yaki”. “Yaki” means to bake something. Right one is pacific sauries baked with charcoals. Do you eat the fish? I like it. Anyway, these foods were very delicious! You know, it depends on not only foods but also other things like situation and atmosphere if the food is nice. Any foods must be delicious with glancing such a beautiful cherry blossom. It is important to decorate meals.

I introduce my new friends to you. Please look at the first photo. Left guy is Kei. He is from China and graduated doctoral course of high-level university in Japan but he is very funny and cheerful guy so he always entertains us with telling funny things. I can’t believe he is doctor. Sometimes he asks our superiors some pointed difficult questions, then I remember he is Dr. Kei.

Next, look at the right guy. His name is Namiki. He likes drinking party just like me so I have already drunk with him so many times. In addition, he likes to play soccer so that we belong to soccer team of our lab. He is also intelligent and good at making up programs so he was assigned to the department to develop artificial intelligence robots. I hope I would make special robots that can work like people with him.

The center guy is Shinjo who is cool and funny guy but looks so crazy. He doesn’t have girlfriend just like me so we made an alliance to look for girlfriends. We are going to give some parties with girls(^_^) Anyway, I enjoy new life. I want to work hard and play with them.

We have 10 days holidays from today in Japan. We call the vacation “Golden Week”. I will forget my job and play with friends but I have not decided details to do, yet. Probably, I will ride motorbike and go on a trip in Japan for a few days with friends.

Hi Shizuo-Hank and I just got back from China. We were there for only one week so it was a very fast but interesting trip. Were in Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. My favorite city was Xi'an, of course the terra cotta warriors were amazing.
Lots to see and lots of shopping.
We had lots of good Chinese food although it was very much the same all the time. The food you cooked under the cherry blossoms looks great.
See, you would make a good husband because you cook!
Your job sounds very interesting.
Judy

Now I'm surprised as there is a female writing on your blog. I think you know her. I loved seeing your new friends at your new job. It sounds like you are enjoying the job and the time off the job too. The doctor looks very wise, your friend without a girlfriend looks nice also.
I like to know about each one so thanks for including all the details.
I hope you will find a nice girlfriend like the one fellow has in the last photo.

Hi Judy
Your trip sounds very interesting!
I know! I have seen so many soldiers under ground in my society textbook when I was young.
I also want to go to China. Two of my friends in my company are Chinese so I will ask them to guide me in China.
I like Chinese food, too. Please don't eat too much!(^-^)
