Happy New Year!

Long time no see! I update Shizuo’s room for the first time in 2 years.

Our house was old 2 years ago, but now new one.

This is new house.

My father designed it so he seems to be satisfied very much.

This is restroom in our house. It is one of the most favorite spaces. The wood on the wall was kept in nearby mountain for long time by him. He likes its grain and shape.

I used this photo as New Year’s greeting card of my family.

Next of me is my brother, Masatake. This year is special for him. He is in Djibouti in Africa now. He left for Djibouti on January 7th. He is supposed to teach Djibouti children science as a Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer for 2 years. Do you know the country?

It is the hottest country in the world; Maximum temperature is 71.5 deg C (160.7 deg F). I think, it is so harsh environment that it is difficult to maintain good health for him.

The enrollment rate of Djibouti seems to be the lowest in the world; Female gross enrollment rate was at 21.9% and male gross enrollment rate was at 29.0% in 2007. His purpose seems to provide high quality lesson of science with various experiments for Djibouti children. Anyway, I want him to take care of himself and keep up the good job.

This photo is Masatake’s going away party. He explained his mission and dream to Our families. Such opportunity is probably good for children, I think.

Hi Shizuo,
Your family's new house is absolutely beautiful.

Hope you are doing well.

I am off to Tanazia next week...as a tourist. No work just to enjoy looking at the animals.
